How we came to Conscious Parenting
As our personal journey from being yoginis transformed into being parents, we discovered a great collection of Yogiji's teachings on pregnancy, birth, postpartum, relationships, humanology and child raising and consciousness that we found very useful in this big step into parenthood. Our experiences were filled with longing for a wider and deeper knowledge on how the technology of Kundalini Yoga and the awareness of numbers through Karam Kriya would help us in this journey as parents. It was through our own desire to experience this fully and grow as a family with all the wisdom of the Teachings.
We decided to team up and share this experience and wisdom with others, because in each of us there is the potential to become the best teacher and parent to our children. Instead of acting unconsciously and producing more karma for ourselves and our children, our aim as conscious parents is to rid of the karma of past generations, while at the same time valuing the beautiful past family traditions we found, so we can give a strong foundation to children.
Bachitar Kaur and Sukhdev Kaur are both experienced Kundalini Yoga teachers, teacher trainers, Karam Kriya consultants and Pregnancy Yoga teachers and doulas.
